GLORY ROAD TRAVELER

The Glory Road Travelers has been in Gospel music for many years. I started in Oklahoma where I had a radio program in Pryor, Oklahoma on an FM station that covered three states. It was five hours a night, six nights a week; that kept me very busy singing with the group (a quartet at that time).

I moved to Oregon in 1974 where I did a solo program until I met a man in Creswell, Oregon to do a duo with.

After the duo I joined The Arrangers Trio and sang with them for three years and played bass and guitar until one of the members had some health problems and that put me back out on my own again. In 2004 I met Mr. Frank Walden who has worked with many of the Nashville people. He is one of the best guitar players I’ve met (he plays Chet Adkins style along with other styles). I work with Larry and Beth Cummings until they go south for the winter; then I work with Don Norris (I’ve worked with him on and off for years).

We use MC PRO for our tracks that we play along with, to add more to the program.

My goal is to see souls saved and the name of Christ lifted up as I glorify His name.

God Bless,

The Glory Road Traveler (aka Jerry Ott)
