I first started singing in church at the age of nine and at the age of 14, I was singing bass in my first quartet. I sang bass for two years until three of the members were drafted into the army. I then started singing duets with my brother for a while. At the age of 19 I joined a group called The Singing Moore Family for about a year. I met my future wife at one of our sings. In 1969 we married and 45 years, two kids plus three grandkids later I am still singing for the Lord.
In my twenties, I was singing bass in a group called The Ambassadors Quartet. We were out singing just about every weekend for four years in Washington & Northern Oregon. In my late thirties I started a group called The Singing Bakers with my sister and brother. Since then I have sung in a couple of church quartets but mostly have been doing solo work for church and other events.
This year I have been doing some concerts around my hometowns of Longview and Kelso, and the Washington area. I want to broaden my ministry to more places and be able to see the Lord working through me in a much bigger way.
